About the band

Playing Rock Songs that Defined Generations

Voodoo Mountain Band is a Monument, Colorado–based hard rock band

delivering an electrifying “Across the Decades” experience—celebrating rock music from the 1970s through today.

Our journey is filled with creativity and passion, and we want to share with you how it all started.

Voodoo Mountain Band was established in 2024, by brothers Tony and Larry Guidry, whose roots run deep in Louisiana’s rich musical heritage. Descendants of a long line of musicians, the Guidry brothers were raised in a family where music wasn’t just encouraged—it was a way of life.

Their father, Glynn Guidry, was a respected and influential figure in the Louisiana music scene from the late 1960s through the 1990s.

The family legacy extends further through Glynn's cousin Doug Kershaw, the legendary “Ragin’ Cajun” known worldwide for his 1961 hit “Louisiana Man.”

Tony and Larry are also relatives of “Little Joe” Manuel, current acoustic guitarist for George Strait’s Ace in the Hole Band.

With Tony playing drums and bass since the age of 10, and Larry picking up the bass guitar in his early teens—quickly proving to be a natural—the brothers carried that musical lineage forward.

The name Voodoo Mountain reflects their deep Louisiana roots blended with their love for the mountains they now call home.

The band is fronted by Steve "Nooch" Nuccio, who's powerful, soaring vocals perfectly match the band’s hard rock edge.

Lead guitarists Jeff “Pappy” Papenfuss and Dennis Bradley bring elite musicianship, blistering solos, and rich harmonies.

The rock-solid rhythm section anchored by the Guidry brothers with relentless energy, precision and a fire that can’t be taught.

Rounding out the team is Wayne Swope, whose expert sound engineering ensures every show hits with clarity and power.

Voodoo Mountain Band is NOT just another cover band.

Their "Across the Decades" show has energized audiences with a collection of rock songs that defined generations, showcasing the evolution of rock music.

Meet the Band

Tony Guidry - Drummer/Founder and Band Leader

With Tony's musical background, Tony stepped away from music for many years to pursue a successful career as a Satellite Ground Systems Engineer in the aerospace industry. After retiring, his technical expertise and lifelong musical talent reignited his passion for performing, bringing him full circle back to the stage.

As VM's fearless leader, Tony ‘Octo-Sticks’ Guidry, with a setup that looks like a small city of drums — proves that limits are just suggestions. Tony drives the music forward with relentless energy, precision, and a fire that can’t be taught.

Steve "Nooch" Nuccio - Lead Vocalist

Steve "Nooch" Nuccio began his musical journey in Los Angeles with his punk rock band 9Feet. After stepping away from music to raise his family, he relocated to the mountains of Evergreen, Colorado. A chance meeting with Tony at a hard rock concert sparked an instant connection. Nooch’s strong, soaring, and commanding vocals are a perfect fit and wraps around you like a warm embrace, then lifts you into a storm of emotion.

Larry Guidry - Bassist

A product of the 1990s hard rock era, Larry spent years playing in big-hair rock bands, including Silk in Houston, Texas. While the hair may be gone, the powerful bass riffs remain—Larry is passionate about the rhythm section, and it shows.

Larry has a great sense of style that gives the band its swagger.  His bass playing gives the kind of growl that makes the crowd lean in.

Jeff "Pappy" Papenfuss - Lead Guitar

Jeff "Pappy" is one of two lead guitarists where his hair shimmers like spun frost under the stage lights, each strand catching the glow as if it held its own electricity.

Influenced by guitar legends such as Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, Frank Hannon and Dave Meniketti, Pappy brings both precision and passion to the band. Having recently escaped from his day job where he worked alongside Tony, Pappy now spends most of his time chasing tones and counting all the money he has saved on haircuts.

Dennis Bradley - Lead Guitar

Whether shredding under the spotlight or electrifying chaos of the stage, Dennis delivers music that hits like a battle cry

and lingers like an anthem.

Dennis discovered music at a young age thanks to his mother and never looked back. Playing guitar and bass in numerous bands growing up.  After a distinguished 30-year career with the United States Marine Corps, including 4 years as a US Marine Musician in the early 1990’s, he is now pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Guitar Performance at

Berklee College of Music.

The band is honored and humbled to have his talent and experience.

Wayne Swope - Sound Engineer

Armed with a mixing console and infinite patience,

Wayne wrangles the sonic chaos of five rock ‘n’ roll divas

who think volume knobs are purely decorative.

Often considered the toughest job in the band, Wayne ensures that Voodoo Mountain sounds exceptional at every show.

An Aerospace Hardware and Firmware Engineer born and raised in Pueblo CO, Wayne got his start by running sound at his church.

His love of heavy rock and metal—and his deep technical knowledge—make him an invaluable part of the Voodoo Mountain experience.
